The Innocence Scholarship Column

The Innocence Scholarship Column reviews current (and some older) research and scholarship related to wrongful convictions.  While less visible to the general public than exoneration narratives, research in psychology, law, forensic science, criminology, and related social sciences provides the evidence needed to create a more accurate and humane criminal justice system.  Now retired from teaching Dr. Zalman keeps abreast of what is

happening in the field. These columns are a resource for those who want to know about developments in the field. You can read more about Dr. Zalman by clicking here.
