Michigan Wrongful Imprisonment Compensation Act
Michigan needs to adopt a Wrongful Imprisonment Compensation Act. 27 states have already done so.
We encourage you to read the actual wording of the bill, both House and Senate versions.
It is our belief that there are deficiencies in this bill. The most obvious is that it is arbitrarily restricted to DNA cases, which has not basis especially since the majority of wrongful conviction most likely are not DNA.
To understand those concerns, you can listen to the fourth radio broadcast on our site of Fighting for Justice on our site. In aditino to understanding, we hope you will act. You may also download files telling you who you may contact.blog comments powered by Disqus
