How Do I Use the RSS Feeds on Your Site?

RSS is an established feature that sends the latest material from a website to a location on most personalized home pages and email clients, such as Outlook. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time in two ways. First, by not needing to visit each site individually. Second, because a new entry in your RSS reader will show up immediately after there is a change in content. If new content appears on a site from which you have an RSS feed, you will know immediately without having to go there.

There are two primary places to add RSS feeds: 1) any personalized home page via a browser, and 2) Outlook or a similar email client. Normally, when you click on the RSS feed of a given page, you have the opportunity to add that feed to your browser. Our video uses My Yahoo as one example to demonstrate how it work. After understanding the process, you will need to apply it in the way established by your system of choice.
